After the release of their second studio album EGOMANIA, the young metal formation looks back on a successful year 2022. Despite a worldwide ongoing pandemic, the band faced all adversities and released 4 singles with professional music videos, made possible by their first crowdfunding with almost 20,000 €.
This boosted OVERSENSE to a consistent 23,000+ monthly Spotify listeners, over a million streams in 117 countries, and earned the combo 430,000 views on Youtube, led by the first single release "Be" with 80,000 views. Quite ok for a band that can't even be labeled with a REAL genre.
But the band followed up immediately: With their latest single "FIRE", they rebel against online agitation and anonymous hate. With new heaviness and their unique sound mixture, OVERSENSE let off some serious steam and deliver an explosive music video to go with it.
After another fall tour with metal queen Doro 2021, the OVERSENSE rebellion tore down the stages of Europe together with Manticora and finally finished the festival season with two amazing shows at last year’s Full Metal Holiday in Mallorca, as well as at Metal Hammer Paradise 2022.
The band consisting of star guitarist Annika Jaschke, drummer Paddl, bassist Vau and frontman Danny Meyer has a clear message for you: Don't let anyone tell you how you need to be and do your own thing!
